I just called them and they tell me they are discontinued. No left over stock, no nothing. Anyone finding a good replacement, let me know. In case anyone cares, the KLR uses the same fan blades as the Kawasaki ZX600C 1985 to 1997 Fred http://www.arrowhea dmotorsports. com http://s1.zetaboard s.com/arrowhead ----- Original Message ----- From: transalp 1 To: KLR650 list Sent: Sunday, July 26, 2009 7:32 AM Subject: [DSN_KLR650] cooling fans Muzzy's sells repacement cooling fans made from aluminum for around $40. Looking in my Dennis Kirk catalog, it appears they make a larger # of Kawasaki applications than any other brand. They don't list a KLR in the street bike catalog. But, that doesn' mean an enterprising sort couldn't make one work. eddie [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] __________________________________________________________________ Yahoo! cooling fans
Fred, or anyone for that matter, the Refrigeration Tech I work with has a good size catalogue with more replacement fans then you ever need to see. If someone can provide the dimensions such as shaft diameter, hub thickness, max rpm, basically all the specs except what I can measure on my bike. I can see if he can source a supplier and part number for a suitable replacement. Have a great day....Greg
