shock & spring.

Thanks again to everyone for the troubleshooting tips about my highway speed wobble I started to have. I don't think I replied back to everyone but I did look at most everything mentioned. I ordered a 550lb spring from eshock to put on a fresh takeoff shock from ebay. I have read some posts on other forums that the spring would be good for my 300 lbs plus gear and some that the shock does not have enough dampening for that spring, I guess I will find out the hard way. That will leave me with my original high mileage factory shock that I will attempt to refresh with new fluid for a spare and also a Progressive 420 shock that would cost $125 plus parts to have repaired which I probably won't have fixed. I was looking at putting on bar risers which look like they are 2". Do I need to replace cables to make them fit or can I use the stock cables? Dan
