Click on "Protesters defy ayatollah, take to streets", picture #3 shows what looks like 250 Super Sherpas, #6 looks like Hondas. One of the guys in the Sherpa group said he could readily identify the Super Sherpa in some pictures, but none are clear enough for me to ID them. Mike

Hey KLRistas, Leaving from just north of Calgary Thursday, early, enroute to meet a buddy at Pouce Coupe, BC (just south of Dawson Creek, Mile 0 of the Alcan) that night, then onwards via the 'Alcan' to Whitehorse, then north to Dawson City via the 'Klondike Hwy', the 'Dempster Hwy' to Inuvik and back to Dawson, across the Yukon River then 'Top of the World' Hwy thru Chicken, AK to Tok, 'Alcan' again to it's end then Fairbanks, Denali, Anchorage, the Kenai Peninsula to Homer and Seward, Anchorage again, Valdez, Whitehorse again then Skagway, back to Whitehorse and 'Alcan' again to Watson Lake. Then south on the Stewart-Cassiar Hwy (BC37), to Hyder, AK, then east on BC 16 thru Smithers to Prince George, south to Williams Lake then west to Bella Coola, back out via the Chilcotin Plateau to Clinton, BC, then east to home for me, south to Vancouver for my bud. With luck we'll cross paths with Don M. from this list with several of HIS buddies somewhere around Whitehorse on 28th June. Mr GPS says the trip will cover 12,400 kms (7,688 miles) give or take a few. Tenting all the way, OF COURSE! See y'all again in a month or so...! Cheers, Ed
