I found that out too late on my Concours fairing tabs ......... but some guys at an Auto Paint supply steered me into some epoxy used to fix plastic car bumpers that seems to be working great. Criswell

I am interested in participating in an organized dual sport ride this summer. a few days long, not overly difficult, camping, not too far from Fredericksburg, VA. PA, VA, NC, WV would work. Anti freedom/2nd amendment states like MD, NJ, NY are out. I have a KLR650. A friend who may be joining me has a KLR250. Suggestions appreciated. The 7 Mountains Dualsport is on June 21 (Father's Day). This is an excellent event that includes a picnic lunch stop. I've done it 6 or 7 years in a row. There are routes for both heavies and heros. The start point is on US322, about 3 miles sout of Potters Millls, PA. More info here: http://www.pamall.net/patra/> Too bad you didn't post earlier. The Durty Dabbers 2-day event in the same area was may 30-31. We have a dedicated dualsport course here that covers over 100 miles of nice, legal riding. Mark

I forgot to add that camping is available at the start. Also, since this is just a 1-day ride, I can also lead a nice ride in a different nearby area on the day before or after for your enjoyment. Who knows... this could develop into a KLR shindig. Mark

PS: If you get the entry form in the mail today (or by Saturday at the latest- there's usually a little latitude), you'll get the T-shirt for free. It's a really nice shirt. I'm not riding it this year (let my AMA membership lapse, and too busy with kayaking), but I am going up to buy a shirt. The more I think about it, I'd be interested in hosting a ride for Saturday, the day before the PATRA ride. Any folks interested? Mark
