I came home the other night from a test ride at 5K+ rpm and it wasn't all that much fun. Actually it was *fun* but not as peaceful as I wanted. So I may also have, e.g., a Valve Problem ... dunno yet. I doubt if this is related to the Wiring Harness issue but in the interest of full disclosure, &c ...
