progessive fork springs

Congratulaions on the Proggresive springs. I am sure you will like them.
Mine came with 2" preload tubes. Because I weigh 280 lbs, I made 2-1/2" tubes out of the stock tubes. Under hard braking (as hard as a KLR can anyway) the front end only drops about 2-3 inches instead of bottoming out which the stock ones would do. I also purchased a Top Gun 8Kg rear spring. I now have the rear preload set on 1 instaed of 5. I haven't measured sag yet, but it is minimal. The bike really keeps itself planted, and feels solid in curves. It is like having a new bike.
If you are a big guy, Top Gun has 3 different upgrade springs. You buy the one that best matches the load you carry. I am very satisfied with the difference. And it is a lot cheaper than buying a new shock/spring combo.
