To everyone who is upset by my neglect in stating that my message was NKLR,
my apologies. I just thought that after reading a gazillion posts re: tire
pressure, valve shims, and Tengai plastic, you might want to investigate
something a little more enlightening. I presently subscribe to four or five
lists, and find this one the most informative and interesting, but I must
say that the NKLR stuff is the best!
Regards to all,

I have sent a couple emails out that reffered to my fondness of antique tractors.
I did not put NKLR in the subject line. I apologize for this oversight on my part.

I used my KLR to tow a YZ250 over 10 miles of fire trails... does that make mine a tractor, too?

The KLR is both tractor and big ole' bad a$$ adventure bike with a touch of
commuter and plain old reliable transportation thrown in. I should also
mention that is has a smattering of dirt bike in it's heritage that comes to
the forefront when we deign to wander very far from civilization and it's
endless blacktop.
Yes... It is a tractor at heart though...

Email the guy who posted the pics and ask him if he rejetted. You might have to join that group.
I don't think you have to rejet. The major changes are simply lighter weight and much cooler sound. Not really louder; just more bass.
