Ron,
It's unclear to me what Kenda tires you are talking about suggesting the
they are suddenly unpredictable in some situations.
Can you go into a bit more detail.

Oh sorry, it is the Kenda 270 which a lot of people like. Cheap and
easy to mount but get wiggly if you lean them over. supposedly. You
wouldn't believe how quick my buddy went down. I was right behind him
and stopped and checked for oil, gravel etc. Nothing did I find.

Ron,
Thanks for the clarification.
It's kind of interesting as the Kenda K270 has been my tire of choice for
over 24,000 smiles. I find the rear, when new, might want to walk out a
bit on hard cornering on pavement but it's very predictable in my
experience. After about 500 smiles on a rear tire the knobs have worn a
bit and I don't notice the walking anymore. Never had an issue with
falling over because of my tires.

May be my buddy. He has crashed 3 times in the last 3 years breaking
ribs every time. His wife suggested he give up motorcycles. His reply
" I've been riding motorsickles all my life" mind your own business.
He uses Avon Gripsters now.
