Yeesh-
2005 22K miles on it, wouldn't start this afternoon. I put about 30 miles on it a few hours earlier without any problem.
Fuses are good, no lights, horn, neutral light, etc. No response to the starter button. Made sure all the safeties were where where they should be, then tried 'em where they shouldn't be- you know, just 'cause...
12.9 volts from before the main fuse to ground. Unfortunately I don't have my manual with me at the moment. Probably going to get a ride home and start on it tomorrow.
Any suggestion?

12.9 volt battery output and no headlight, tail light, neutral light, etc
sounds like a main fuse to me. Did you check circuit to ground AFTER
the main fuse?
I'm pretty sure that none of the safeties will make the lights go out.
If the key is not engaging to "On", you would get what you described also,
but the fuse is easier to check.

Also check the cable connections to the battery. Clean and tight?
