how can i keep from losing master chain link clips

Ed, As an 'expert' on the use of SS safety wire {ex-USAF electronics, now wooden boatbuilder}, I'd suggest the 0.032 dia stuff. I keep a '1-pound roll' of it, along with a roll of 0.041, on the shelf. Get it from Harbor Freight . . . cheap, even CHEAPER when on sale. Regards & Good Luck, Ron Magen Backyard Boatshop {Why safety wire with boats? . . mooring anchor & chain shackles, outboard clamp security, and just all-around handy!!}
