Hey guys, Under what circumstances,what mods, would you deem necessary to re-jet ?

Radical changes in exhaust or intake characteristic would probably be two times it would be appropriate to consider changes. Also poor fuel economy not related to your right wrist might be worthy of consideration. Increased displacement like a 705 kit would probably also be worth looking into rejetting. In most circumstances I would not be rejetting a KLR just to try to increase engine performance unless there was a driveability issue. fugi nuts v's nyloc

Fugi are used in high temp and nyloc are the cheaper locking nut that melt on application to Brakes, exhaust etc. Also Fugi are lighter thats why you see them in motorsport and aircraft applications.
