1.For myself I wanted to know the improvement of the 685 and 705 kit and wich one was more reliable. This way when my motor pukes out I know the increase in horse power and torque, the cost of each and can in advance choose the route to go and set money aside to keep my KLR from a lengthly down time. I beleive I fall into the catagory of most on this forum leaving my stock motor as is. I have 12,000 on my 07 klr, I love it but I want to know the cost and performance of each. If my motor goes out I will do the 685 or 705 kit. 2. I would like to know and share dyno specs for the 685 and 705 kit in comparison to stock. 3. What combination ( jetting, air intake, head work, exhaust)gives the best performance on the 685 and 705. what does that combination cost? Who did the work for you? Are you pleased with them? 4. I would love to buy a wrecked KLR or just motor and have the motor put to its miximum reliable potential. this way it would only take a short downtime to swap motors and I would still have a stock spare if done before my stock motor pukes. 5. I am looking in to see if I can send a stock motor to someone and have them rebuild it to a 685 or 705 with head work and what is the best intake/ exhaust combination to go with it. Please if you find anything comparing dyno of stock vrs 685 vrs 705 please share it.
