My spelling is so bad that my boss has been looking for a pen with builtin spell check. He said that when he would start it it would be fine and then die when he applied power. When I got there we jumped it (battery dead) and it started just fine. Rev it up and seemed fine. Put it in gear and eased out on the clutch. Tach needle shot to zero and motor died. The bike would start in nuetral with the clutch out or in gear with the clutch squeezed. With the trans in nuetral the clutch lever could be in or out and all was fine. As soon as it was put in gear and the clutch eased out the tach needle would go to zero and motor would cut off. We took the clutch switch apart and cleaned the contacts but it did nnot make a difference. Not sure where the nuetral switch is. There does not appear to be a sidestand switch. Any and all advice appreciated. Shame of all shame we had to (glup) trailer the bike back to his house. > > -- > > Just wanted to get "neutral" spelled right.
