BTW, anyone else get these as could be serial number related. This is my 3rd KLR and never received any recalls on the other ones! Rather than complain or down grade an 08 KLR, it sound to me like Kawasaki is trying to be responsible to their customers. And Yes, it is related to the serial numbers. I received the same recal on my 2008. Since I just re-installed my muffler I am not concerned about the bolts being loose. As for the wiring harness, the most it can do is stop. I'm going to ride until the dealer has my parts in and then take the bike in for this service. Mike H. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
