All hype. Just like the Sylvania Silverstar bulbs the suckers buy. There's really only one *simple* bulb upgrade (before the whole relays and higher wattage bulbs) and that's HIR bulbs. *any* tinted bulb is Bad News. Relays to get full power to the bulb, and higher wattage is Good Stuff. People do swear by HIR bulbs too.
