The quicky field repair is to take off the back of the petcock, remove the o-ring from the end of the plunger and the spring that pushes the plunger in to turn off the fuel, and put it all back together. For extra safety leave a little piece of vacuum line attached but tied off (in case the diaphragm for the plunger springs a leak). As others have mentioned, Krokko has a different fix, which eliminates the plunger altogether (with its associated vacuum gasket) and replaces it with a sheet rubber gasket and a pretty aluminum backing plate in place of the vacuum housing.> On the way to DVDaze, the vacuum line to the fuel shut-off collapsed > and left me stuck.
