unsafe highways for motorcyclists

I was riding the Interstate (40) down the hill into Albuquerque surrounded by trucks on my KLR when the truck next to me picked up truck tire tread and tossed it right between my high front fender and the tire. Coulda been bad but the tread just passed right through the opening. Probably ought to stay off Interstate surrounded by trucks. Criswell
