spoke replacement
Kawi doesn't sell them singular? You'd be wasting your money replacing
all at once. Just buy a couple extras of each size to have on hand.
Anyway, just replace the spoke and then "strum" all the spokes like a
guitar with a wrench to check tightness. They should have a musical
quality, not too high, not too low. The pitch should match for all.
Someone may be better able to explain the pitch.
While you're at it, put a single drop of oil on the back of every
nipple. I do this with every tire change. Trust me, you'll thank me for
the tip down the road.
Search the net for "wheel truing" and check that while you're at it. It
doesn't matter if the page is meant for dirtbikes or bicycles, the
basics are all the same. Just like Newtons Laws, every action has a
reaction from the opposite direction. If I remember right, offroad.com
has a couple good ones. Easiest way is to pry the pads back away from
the discs and true the wheel in place. Place zip-ties on fork legs and
swingarm, placing and cutting so they are near the wheel. This makes for
an easy reference, though I just do them by eye. Spoke replacement is
great therapy if you're 6 weeks into dual broken wrists

better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace.
We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you.
May your chains set lightly upon you,and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."
