adventure motorcycle videos - source?
About 6-9 mos ago, an excellent site for motorcycle videos (divx-
format) shut down. I think I found it as a result of a posting here or
another motorcycle forum that I watch. I was able to download and save
two 'home movies' taken with helmet-cams: one on a twisty road in
Norway that looks like they climbed two-miles of elevation; the other
was a bunch of adventure riders (BMW HP, HONDA, KTM, YAMAHA, etc) that
ran through the Ukraine. The later movie, along with its eastern
European rap music and American pop, really was excitng with the mud,
vistas, many tip-overs, exhaust pipes belching water, etc.
Anybody out there know of another site similar to the now defunct
http://www.stage6.com/ ? No Youtube please. These movies were about
15 mins long and covered about a week's worth of travel.

Maybe you could pop the tops of the fork tubes and add a spacer / increase the length of an exisiting spacer to add more preload to your exisiting equipment. You could 'cheaply' experiment with increasing preload (wear your safety glasses) to see if this helps your problems (use a piece of PVC pipe to do this). I haven't done jack in a while; too busy playing keep-up with my previously-neglected house and now I'm into this slalom kayaking thing. However, I took part in a video that was shot of a 3-day regional PA ride last summer. The rough cut was about 45 minutes, but I think it's in the process of being trimmed for a better 30 minute version. The guy who shot/edited it is Ben Salazar; I think he's on this forum. If not, I'll see what he's up to. Mark>Mark Van Horn - Do you have anything home-ground?
