I did part of the TransAmerican trail through TN and MS http://www.transamtrail.com/ it was fun then I came back along the gulf coast almost all secondary roads back to Fayetteville. I do some gravel in western NC but I bought a Concours 2 years ago and the KLR just sits. The TA trail is being paved as we speak like the roads around here with progress come pavement. If your going to do it go as soon as possible. John Hi John - just saw your ad on craigslist about your KLR - I just bought an '07, and besides zipping around the roads, Im trying to figure out what to do with it.. the way you have yours rigged, seems like you must have done some big fun things? Hello, I want to replace my tires (front: 90/90-21 DUNLOP TRAIL MAX L, rear: 120/90-17 DUNLOP TRAIL MAX J) because the rear one slips under acceleration. I would like to put on more knobby ones, in particular the MICHELIN T63 90/90-21 and 130/80-17. Will I have problem on pavement at high speeds? (jerking, instability, tank slap) Thanks Georgios
