Huh.... 20,000 mile chain... is that something that holds a bong together ? Just over 12,000 and on the 3rd chain.... Admit 2nd was a really "REALLY" cheap thing I ordered late in a season to get me by till the next riding season. (Sub $20 cost at my discount at a dealership) Currently running a bulk chain we put on Po-Po's (Polaris 4 wheelers) when I worked at another stealership. And since it was not designed or made by Po-Po sofar seems to be holding up fairly well. Rolled off 106 links, dropped a chain breaker on it, grabbed a few packs of master links and paid whatever it cost (My cost of course) up at the till. Its a KLR not a Space Shuttle... whatever works... works right. I bought a KLR cause it was a dirt bike (kinda) that could ride me 2-up when needed, take me through swamps if needed, over and through the woods cause they are there and something with enough "power" (sounds funny talking about a KLR hey... ) to let me surf the sand pits around my home town area.. When this chain is toast I will locate another source of bulk chain if possible and replace as needed. Dooden A15 Green Ape
