Is this the beginning of an immigration thread?
da Vermonster - who uses simpler terms like, "That rim is f%$^ed up."

List veterans might recall that for years some have been advising new owners
that a valve adjustment is easy, a piece of cake. I remember one guy who
timed himself and told us how quickly the job can be done. Yeah it s not the
same challenge as writing a great novel or starting a successful
business......but, as Bryan can testify, there are little things that can go
wrong. These mishaps can have serious consequences. I recall one Kawi
owner-a catholic priest, non-the-less-who misaligned the little guide for a
cam cap. I won t go into the details but....goodbye cylinder head. That same
thing almost happened during a tech session here in Colorado. Luckily, we
caught the guy while he was tightening the cap. Since I can be a space cadet
mechanic, as anyone who has watched me work will testify, I try to keep my
concentration and work slowly while performing this task. Good luck with the
stator problem, Bryan.
