nklr, ot, craftsman torque wrenches on sale

Post by Jeff Saline » Thu Nov 27, 2008 10:03 am

Listers, OK Heads, Udder Heads, Some Craftsman Microtork torque wrenches are on sale on Friday and Saturday for $39.99. Their regular price is $79.99. This is the lowest I've ever seen for these torque wrenches. If you have been thinking about getting a torque wrench or two this is probably the best deal you'll ever on Craftsman torque wrenches. Model numbers are 44593/4/5 Ranges are: 25-250 in lbs., 10-75 ft lbs., 20-150 ft lbs. The two smaller ones are probably a very good combination as they complement each other well with nice overlap. The largest one is nice to have for items like the rotor bolt, counter shaft sprocket nut, axle nuts and rear suspension linkage fasteners on the KLR or final drive pinion nuts and transmission output flange nuts and maybe flywheel bolts on the airheads. making a rotor holder tool

Post by Lars Lemberg » Sun Nov 30, 2008 12:23 pm

DualSportNews' KLR650 Discussion ListI use a 1-1/4in crows foot on a breaker bar to hold the rotor, it works fine. It's hard to find a lone economical 1-1/4 that is not part of a set, but I found one on eBay for U.S.$10. Lars in VA '06 Soylent Green
