Chris,
I bought a copy straight from Adrian earlier in the year. It is a KLR
and it's an interesting read although it started to get hard to pick up
for maybe the last 1/3. He's a complete novice at the beginning and the
bike is pretty much bone stock. He tears it up pretty good and goes
places I wouldn't even think of trying to ride. He just didn't know it
couldn't be done. : ) There is more about the adventure with the people
he meets along the way and who also help him than there is about riding
and bike mechanics like we're used to. Lots about his observations and
the cultures.
If you order it from Adrian maybe ask him for an inscription. I didn't
realize I was buying my copy right from him and it would have been nice
to have him personalize my copy.
It'll be an ok winter read.
Best,

I liked it. Its a good read that focuses more on the human aspect
than the technical aspects of adventure touring.
He goes places that are just unbelievable. The stories about the
people he meets are very interesting.
