Mark Van Horn, tengai650@..., Has offered up one for my list with his 'heated grips on the cheap' from his previous post. With the links he sent and a pair of inexpensive hippo hands I also saw at Sportsman's Guide I have now revised my list. Anybody seeking to be toasty warm while riding this winter should print this now and leave it conveniently lying around where your loved ones can find it in time to solve their Christmas shopping questions. The $26.99 Kimpex grip heaters http://www.bobscycle.com/browse.cfm/4,9415.html?AFF=690FGL or $23.99 here http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/productDetail.do;jsessionid=87DA5E09D1ECE7 342F3F437B547BCD9E.westring1?navType=type&webTypeId=307&navTitle=Gift+Ideas& webCatId=31&prodFamilyId=14160 $14.97 pair of hippo hands made for an ATV or snowmobile http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=101544 A snowmobile helmet with a dual wall shield and breath guard for $69.97 or even a modular flip up with the same accoutrements for $79.97 http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=404973 http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=465536 This riding suit is my top pick. The suit is $119.97 and the gloves are $24.97. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=477183 This 1 pc snow suit probably isn't your best bet at highway speeds but at $49.97 it might be worth a try if your on a really tight budget. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=302604 If you go with the $49 suit and cant swing the cash for the grip heaters or hippo hands then you will need some $21.97 gloves also. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=482945 Chris, A.K.A. need klr-worthy mechanic, orlando area

Hi Folks, My 2007, now somewhat middle-aged at 38,000 miles, is shipping from Europe and should arrive around the new year in Orlando, of all places. It needs bits of assessment, R&R and general maintenance before being ridden as indirectly as possibly back to its putative home in Washington state. Does anyone know of a reasonably reliable and honest m/c mechanic in central Florida (or within reach, say a day's ride)? I am happy to pay well for competant work. Thanks much in advance! Mark
