She usually rides a KLR too, but the KTM got the nod because it went better with the bikini. We insisted that she wear a helmet and boots as minimum protective clothing.... gotta watch out how you word stuff I guess... And yes, the point is, if you're American, you MUST get out and vote - no matter what you ride or what you're wearing. I like the new bike for the same reasons, plus the fact that it's a bit smoother is nice too because let's face it, the old one is way buzzy. But if you have the old one I wouldn't buy the new one for those reasons, you can beef up the old one to have pretty much the same advantages if you work at it, for a lot less than buying a new one. (Especially for those with 40K miles or more on our old KLR's, which makes them effectively worthless on the used bike market).
