Hey all, Ive been here lurking and learning from all the posts. I finally got something to post that is ?good? I have been butting heads with my local shop in regards to replaceing the two turn signals that broke off on my '08 with only 4800 smiles. They finally call late last week and state they are willing to work with me and will try to work something out with KMC for the cost. SO...(are you ready for this?) guess what comes in the mail on Wed. yep you got it....A RECALL NOTICE FOR THE TURN SIGNALS....who would have thunk. And these guys wonder why I didnt buy my bike from them? ya, right. So, anyway they say the signals are back ordered and it may be a while but that I should take care of the old ones so it does not look like they were abused. I asked if duct taping them to the bike is ok, they didnt think it was very funny, oh well. Any way I hope this helps any one with an 08 that has "faulty" turn indicators. I will check the card to see if it has a recall # and if so will post to help those who have not got theirs yet. Thanks agin to everyone for the wisdom and insights to these wonderful work horses.
