modded my aluminum skid-plate

For those who STILL remove their aluminum skid-plate to adjust the
"Doo": I looked at mine, then went and got a 1" hole saw (probably
made for wood, but MINE worked GREAT on my skid-plate!!!), 'chucked'
it into my 18V drill, eyeballed the rubber plug for the "Doo" adjuster
to mark the center for the bit, then moved down till my angle was 90
degrees to the plate and started drilling. Not TOO much pressure so
you don't go thru into the engine case! About 45 seconds later I had a
nice large hole giving access to my "Doo" adjuster. Cleaned up the
edges with a small stone, then adjusted the "Doo" in about 3 minutes,
INCLUDING getting the torque wrench!
If you find yourself avoiding adjusting YOUR "Doo" because of the
skid-plate, here's your solution.
Cheers,
