Get a Scott chain oiler. I've had one on my bike for the last 12,000 miles. I had to replace my chain, front sprocket and flip my rear at 8,000 miles after using chain wax, gear oil and WD40 every few hundred miles. And when I did I also put on the chain oiler. 12K later I still have the same chain and rear sprocket, and the 15T front sprocket still looked good (I moved up to a 16T since I'm doing more freeway riding now).
