You're right in riding being "flying low" with one exception. When I'm in the Ultralight, the exciting part is the take-off and landing. The rest is too peaceful. Riding is far more exciting, you have road feedback, you have this road, that road, a mountain, a rock, a stop sign. In the 'light, all you do is monitor sectionals and hover..and hover...and hover. It's very peaceful but nowhere near as dynamic as spraying mud behind you, bouncing over a hill or spending a day on a trail.
