what to doo next? balancer chain within spec...changing 3 of 4 s

Have any of you all tried this to avoid bum fatigue during long rides, put a Stearns Comfort Ride ATV Seat Cover from Wally Mart on the stock KLR seat, then cover that with an Alaska Leathers? The total cost would be about $125, or less. Any input on why this is a good or bad idea would be appreciated. Eddie (03' KLR - "la poderosa")

You could probably find a used Corbin for that price.

While you could probably get a used Corbin for that price, try to find one! I've heard that the Wally world cover works fine. I don't know about covering it. With a bit ofd practice, I think you can cover it yourself. Its just stapled in the bottom of the plastic seat pan. I've ordered 3 of 4 sprockets in the balancer ecosystem. For mental health reasons, I'm going to assume the crankshaft sprocket is like- new. Well, it looks like-new, damn it! ha ha I'm going to take measurements for future purposes and the benefit of listas. I'll have a baseline for future at least. I don't know what the specs of a new crankshaft balancer sprocket is unfortunately. The price of a new on is $301. Now, even though I'm going with 75% new sprockets, I'm going to use my existing balancer chain. A new one is $210 and mine is well within spec (measured stretch test: 190-190.5mm new, mine 191.5mm, service limit 193.5mm). The "old" logic was to replace sprockets and chain as a set.
