I'm no engineer, but when I draft a bigger vehicle I can see my temp gauge
go high. I wonder what the temp limit is for the KLR where even at speed
(and air rushing through the radiator) it will overhead.
Mine generally stays right around 190F, but drafting or anything less than
highway speeds during a hot day will make it go over that and run the fan
fairly often. This is in temps barely touching 100F.
A splash of water-wetter helps immensely, though the heat might affect the
left-side fairing (water-wetter lets the radiator dissipate more heat, but
it has to go SOMEWHERE).
