It's been bugging me for a while : Who came up with the swing arm idea on bikes ? What was the 1st bike with a swing arm ?

I could probably find that out with a little research. I do recall that in the early '50s there was an aftermarket conversion available for some British bikes (Norton?) called the Mccandless, or something like that, I'd wager rthere was something before that.

Be aware that a get bladder without insulation gets super hot when left in direct sunlight. If you re tall no big deal but if not anything on the seat will make a high ride even higher. My solution was to buy a get bladder from a moto shop-also available at medical supply places and JC Whitney. I had it buried in the seat with some foam on top of it; a auto upholstery shop did the work. The seat was cut down 2 to lower it but you don t have to do that. The seat is comfortable; done 600 mile days. Bogdan
