I agree. I'm aware of two incidents from people I know. Both were injured using the wrong tools/method. On guy lost a finger and the other guy suffered multiple facial fratures and has been off work for almost a year. Several may say otherwise butit's not worth it !!!!
They were doing car struts but the idea is the same.

I ve done the change a couple of times. My advice is don t. There are plenty
of auto places that will change it usually for cheap. It really is dangerous
without the exact right set up. And I see no reason to buy expensive tools
you only use once in a while.
