Someone stole my old Shoei RF-1000 Odie/Garfield cool graphics from Gas
Lamp District San Diego last night. Cut the strap...it was locked on.
Lame theft cuz they have to sew strao and rings back on and the helmet
had been well used with dings.
Some other KLRista recently had his motorcycle stolen near San Diego.
SO BEWARE IN SAN DIEGO area.
The good news is I promptly found a Shoei RF900 in better condition on
craigslist and got it for $140 but it wasn't quit as cool graphically.

KLRistas,
I have had my KLR for about 6 months and a few thousand miles and have been
ultimately happy with it other than my tire issue which I caused myself by
buying a cheap tire and I'm about to order a couple of D606's to remedy
that.
Something that came on my bike that I didn't really appreciate at the time
is the Corbin Dished Dual Sport Seat. It makes my bike very comfortable and
at 235 pounds, 5'10" and a 31" inseam I can easily stand flat footed on it
and the bike has never been lowered.
I was going to write a nice review of the seat along with some pictures and
order a new Corbin for my VStrom I'm adding to my stable and while on the
Corbin website I ran across a link to this review.
Frankly it's much better than I would have had the time to write so I'll
just provide a link.

I think that this seat is a far better solution than lowering links albeit
more expensive but then you gain the comfort of the Corbin also. Plus... It
gave me three more horsepower and my bike isn't a bit louder....
Now if I could figure out how to get a camo paint job like the one in the
photos in the review for a reasonable price!
