Thanks for the heads up Jeff. Btw, do you know how delicate torque wrenches are? I have one for ft. lbs. that i've left in the trunk of my car, and i think i've read somewhere that they can be somewhat delicate. Also, i think i've left it "on" about 60 lbs or so for a while before putting it back to zero. What do you mean by 'almost red-lining at slow speeds'????? Did you 'smoke' the clutch? If the engine seems normal and can rev up to almost red-line BUT your bike isn't getting up to speed very fast, it sounds like the clutch. Don R100, A6F --- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com, "markwhitegb" wrote:

FYI there is place you can have the calibration checked and possibly done depending on your particular torque wrnech. This is normal pratice with ISO certified company using torque wrench.
