deer/bike crash -> now gmac insurance.

First off I'd like to say thanks for all the kind words and concern. I'm
almost fully recovered now. The only thing that's not back to normal is
my bad knee, but I don't think it'll get any better than it is now.
But now for the good part. I have GMAC insurance and full coverage
(comp, collision, ...) and they're fixing everything. By everything I
mean the bike (even the parts that were just lightly scratched) and all
my gear. The one gotcha with the safety gear policy that I fortunately
got right is, you _must tell them ahead of time_ what safety gear you
want insured (and it's no additional cost for the first $2000). Talking
to GMAC about the gear the first time; the lady told me that they do
cover the gear up to $2000, but unfortunately I had to specify what gear
I wanted to insure when I signed up, and that I should update my policy
in case of any future accidents. I told her that I did in fact tell the
person I first set up the policy with that I wanted my helmet, jacket,
gloves, boots, and pants covered. She went and looked something up and
then told me my gear was insured. So anybody with GMAC might want to
give them a call and give their policy a review.
