carb rebuild kit now parts list
I just replaced the slide and plunger on my 1986 klr 600. The peoples
dat know, on this list, told me that the carbs used on the American
made HD twins, are the same. I had no problem sliding the parts from
the big twin, right into the carb on the Kawaker. This is a $40.00
retail item for the Harleys, but alot more for the Kawasaki. I am not
sure if the jets and gaskets are the same, but it would be interesting
to know. I will ask the guys down at my friendly area shop, to see if
those parts came from Parts Unlimited Custom Chrome, or direct from HD.
