Can anyone tell me if the thread on the footpeg mounting bolts is fine
medium or coarse ?
Need to replace one for a set of SW Motech Crash Bars.
Only info I have is M8X40 for right side, M8x35 left side.

nklr need help with a concours
I had a Concours for about five years but never had this particular
problem. It sounds like a fuel delivery issue to me. The stock petcock
is vacuum operated; if there was an intermittent vacuum leak, or if the
diaphragm in the petcock has a leak this might cause the problem. One
way to test it would be if it happens again to switch the petcock to the
"Prime" position which bypasses the vacuum operation, which should let
the fuel flow straight out.
Another suggestion is to go to the Concours Owners Group site/email
list; there is a TON of Concours info there and they are usually very
helpful.

It got so bad I feared that it would quit. But mainly, it would be a very slight miss--enough to make my head go forward a bit. Got off the Interstate and slowed down a bit and have had no problem since. I brought it up here but got no replies. Now that someone else seems to have experienced the same thing I will regain some credibility. > > KLR-650 10K > rw > >

foot peg mounting bolts question
For the info of other people on the net that might be interested, that
info just tells you the fact that it is a Metric 8mm bolt either 35 or
40 mm long. Usually you get another number such as 1 or 1.25 which tells
you the pitch of the threads.
