The old tire nomenclature for a 2.75-3.00 tire is the current 90/90. 11- /90 is a 3.75-3.50. Maybe you can find other tires using this conversion. Dunlop offers a D607 dual sport tire iin 100/90-19. That's a bit wider and its possible you could have interference with the fender supports. I ran into this with tires for my old BMW. These early "scramblers" were pretty much a street bike with up-pipes, semiknobbie tires and enduro styled bars. They really weren't dual sports like today's bikes. They were pretty much road only. Cool bike though. Have fun. Hope this info helps.

It's an ex Air Force truck, 3/4 ton, with a slant 6 engine. It has a PTO, 17.5" military wheels with good tires, 5 extra 16" wheels, and a receiver type trailer hitch. It's pretty sound and the body is pretty good, with very little rust but it's definitely a project. It needs upholstery and a transmission rear seal and lots of TLC. It runs and drives but has nearly no brakes. It,s in Drain, Oregon, between Eugene and Roseburg. I'd like to get $1900, but would consider part trade for cool KLR stuff. I can easily email pictures if you are curious or just like these things. -Gerry
