I think mine was mis-shappened and three new O-rings never stopped
the small leak until I used a new cover and used the existing O-
ring. Maybe the porous cover that has been mentioned is a bad
casting with a gap / channel that couldn't be machined out. I could
see that happening on a few % per production run. I haven't run into
personally.
