I have an 08 KLR fully loaded for rent. Fully loaded defined: Nerfs/engine guard/highway pegs Givi Trunk Happy Trails Pelican side bags 12 volt recepticle heated grips Gerbing troller/(heated vest available) IMS cleated swivel pegs Moose bash plate Hand Guards Cruise control (Throttle lock) Zumo 550 GPS/BlueTooth/XM radio (with subscription)MP3 (Lots more I cant remember right now) Currently running Avon m-24's (more of a street or 50/50 tires) Averaging 50mpg currently Using 1 qt (synthetic) oil per 750 miles currently. (rider will be responsible for maintaining bike on their ride, and will sign waiver staing same) Chain will be cleaned and lubed before departure but needs to be done every 300 miles Side bags contain 99% full tool kit (1% is likely the tool you will need so be prepared) Extensive replacement parts/nuts bolts/clamps/patches/Fuses/slime/electric pump/150' rope with pullies Still plenty of room in side bags for clothes gear food etc, plus trunk space. Also available ATGATT. I am 6' 235 lbs. I have Kilamanjaro Air coat with liner (XXL) Firstgear overpants (XXL) Summer and winter gloves Alpinstars size 14 Gortex (waterproof boots) Also available size 13 OXTAR TPS, not waterproof I have an HJC full face XL available Also available 4 man tent (small easy to haul) Sleeping bag Deluxe inflatable mattress Camp stove/Camp pan/Camp plates Camp odds and ends, stout saw, etc. Also available Emergency recovery 4wd truck with ramps ($.48 cents per mile) All this thing needs for a great weekend is an experienced rider! Cost/Rules Weekends: $90 half day (12 hours) $125 full day (24 hours) Available Friday 5pm to Sunday 5pm $500 cash deposit required for riders I do not know. If you have a rider I know as a reference deposit may be waved. Bike is available weekdays for an additional $25 per half day/$50 full day, I commute a lot. Motorcycle endorsement required Proof of insurance required Waiver signed by you assuming full responsibility for yourself and bike required. If you break it (hard to do with full protection) You will pay whatever the dealer quotes as repair cost, cash money upon return. If it breaks/a part fails you will be responsible for returning bike to my home but not be required to pay for worn part/failed part. Please do not contact me if 1. You have no money 2.You do not have a motorcycle liscence 3. You dont have proof of insurance 4. Your an ASS. I reserve the right to refuse rental to anyone I dont feel comfortable with letting use my (commuter) bike. Get over it! I'm a single Dad in need of additional income, thats why I am offering this. No way around it, you'll have to drill holes in the rack. I mounted the universal plate because it gives you the option of removing the trunk with just the key. I used only one of the rails, not both. But it's still very sturdy. \--- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com, "Randy" wrote:
