The fascination for me is, sometimes I wanna ride 2500 miles AND hit some single track, double track, Jeep roads, forest roads, etc. I'm also an eighth of a ton of KLR handling muscle... da Vermonster who firmly believes the KLR is whatever kind of bike you think it is -- today it's going to be a 'busa.

<><><><><><><><><><><><><> <><><><><><><><><><><><><> Tumu, Man, that is well said! I once heard about a guy going into a town and asking a local what kind of folks lived there. The local asked him what kind of folks were where he came from. The guy responded how they were rude, obnoxious and ignorant. The local told him that's pretty much what he'd find in this town too. A day or two later another guy came into the town and asked the same local about the folks that lived there. Again the local asked what kind of folks were where he came from. The guy responded that they were great people, welcoming, open minded, generous and caring. The local then told him that's pretty much what he'd find the this town too. I suppose this idea might be appropriate over a large spectrum of attitudes and situations. Thanks for making my day with your KLR comment. Since you have two KLR's, swap the CDI.
Also, get a DVM out and start testing/comparing the working bike to the
broken one, and see what isn't working.
