With relatively little cargo (rain suit, OEM tool kit, two water bottles, etc.), my bike is sitting nearly straight up while on its side- stand. In this state, it is relatively easy to tip over on to the right side. Even with the the shock's preload set at "5", I still need to pull up on the bike as I dismount to get the max suspension height and a safe amount of lean to the left. Should I be looking at links to increase height, look at changing out the rear shock's coil-over spring with something more substantial, or look at adding a spacer to the top of the existing coil-over spring to get a little more lift? Using my experience I would vote for the heavier spring. I had a similar problem, put on a heavier spring and it pretty much solved the problem. Alan Henderson A13 Iowa Spike55 wrote:

Dudes, I put the RL-1 raising links on my bike to replace the stock dogbones. I'm 6'4" and 240# and therefore like the height and love the stiffer linkage that the shorter linkage arms resulted in.
