Oh good Lord. In other news, my first car was a 1972 Opel GT. I now drive something with more powerful engine, updated electrics, brakes, FI , etc. And if you'll notice, neither Tumu nor I "jumped ship", we "added to our fleet". I also don't recall reading anything derogatory toward the KLR in any of the posts from people who have bought different bikes? And furthermore, I bought my KTM used. Sold new for $14k, I paid $7,100 for it less than 19 months after the original owner bought it. At that price I'd have been stupid not to buy it. If you pull your blinders off, you'll see that there are a whole lot of neat bikes out there. I still love my KLR, but the KTM and my Tiger 1050 give me things that a KLR just can't provide. :-) Thanks CA Stu A13
