I am just curious about what other bikes people may have. I have a 2003 Honda VTX 1800 in Uranium Green that has the power commander, super charger, fuel injection and big loud after market single exhaust you could fit a watermelon into. I love both my bikes but have been spending more time on my Honda. I just can't say enough about it. For a quick ride to the store I use my KLR mostly. Bless you all. JB

Well, When I am on holidays, the bike on the back of the trailer is a 1980 Yamaha DT 175 G. A stunning 2 stroke powerhouse boasting 14.9 HP in it's prime. Nicknamed "Hardley Ableson". Restored over about 18 months and now like new, with the addition of a 12 litre auxiliary tank. Definitely not "chick magnet" material. That bike exists because otherwise when the 5th wheel goes, I am stuck with a truck, which is not my idea of fun. DC

Got a few other bikes, but no Harleys, no dressers, no cruisers.

I have a '77 GL 1000 Gold Wing which I haven't put more than a couple of hundred miles on in the last five years or so. It was my main two-up touring and camping machine for years. I guess I'll need to get it back on the road here this coming fall/winter. I think my wife will want to passenger instead of riding her own on any long trip. 05 FJR1300 ABS. I love it, but I haven't been riding it much since I got the K. I've got an FJR rally in Colorado next months, with a few days in Yellowstone on the way home, so I'll be taking the Feejer for that. I'll probably sell it after that though. I just don't ride it enough to justify tying up the money in it. That's a LOT of KLR farkles. ;) --Jonathan "smthng" Kalmes Springfield, VA 2005 Yamaha FJR1300ABS - "Blue Bayou" 2006 Jeep Unlimited Rubicon - "Teflon" 2008 Kawasaki KLR 650 - It's here, but it hasn't earned a name yet. ;) http://smthng.info "Look, the truth is, I've been trying to save the world, one person at a time, but, I'm meant for smthng bigger. A '99 KLR with 48,000 miles, a 2001 Concourse with 48,000 miles (must be a sign), and a 1983 Yamaha IT 175 with a lot of mud miles that haven't really riden in 10 years but start it occasionally to smoke up the garage and have my wife question my sanity. Criswell

I have an 03 K1200GT as well as a 78 R100S... along with my 08 KLR650... It would be a toss up between the old S and the KLR as which I'd rather ride. Mike H. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
