miss at high rpm

I am not much of a mechanic. Do you mean like a grain of sand in main jet or something like that? Someone on the list a time back talked about a binding choke cable. I did not check gas mileage yet, but based on how far I traveled and gas level in tank now, it seems poor. Also, I put about 6 ounces of Seafoam in the gas tank before leaving. Everyone says this is great for cleaning things up and taking out any moisture that might be in the tank. Could it have loosened particles and sent them to the carb? Ron Moorhouse Modesto, CA

Hi! I'm a former Hershey Foods guy and worked here in Pennsylvania and been to the Oakdale chocolate and the Fresno pasta plants years back. I was part of a team that brought a 69,000 volt power line out from Modesto Irrigation District's service territory to the Oakdale plant and the town. I also have a college friend in Manteca that used to live in Ripon. AND I have a '06 KLR (green). Sounds like there is something preventing the high-speed circuit in the carb from working properly.
