Bought my 01 KLR and the guy said it was completely stock. When I looked at his service manual I noticed he wrote in doohickey. After I called him, he said it had already been done. So I have a doohickey for sale now. See no reason in keeping 2. $35 Dustin 7203018696

mc chains

They're not chains they are claws. Makes them more expensive, especially with the weakening dollar. http://www.mv-motorrad.de/lshop,showrub,31093,e,1214236434-31093,001.0012,,,,.htm If anyone has them or something like them, I'd like to hear how they work. Maybe someone in the US could be persuaded to make something like them. With US product liability law I wouldn't be surprised to find no one willing to sell them here. I remember seeing hill climbs in MN 50 years ago with big bikes running up muddy slopes using chained rear tires. I've heard of bikes racing on ice tracks, but I think they use studded tires, front and back. Gary in SF
