foot peg bolts - torque specs?

Last night I was changing the rear tire on my KLR. I jacked it up with my cycle jack, checked the stability and pulled the wheel. I got the old tire off but it was getting late so I decided to quit. When I looked in the garage this morning, much to my surprise my KLR was laying on the garage floor on its side. It had fallen off the jack. I always let my vehicles down when I go to bed, but not last night. No damage to my KLR though the fall was broken by MY WIFE'S CAR!!! Today has not been a good day, suffice it to say. Lesson learned; its never too late at night to secure the site.

I sweat every morning sliding the bitch out past a new BMW 3Series which the wife treats better than any of the kids! She has not seen the huge scratch the Sears guy put in the back door, inside panel, when he was loading the new lawn mower. She spends $60.00 week in gas and another $12.00 to wash it! She insists on putting only BMW oil, BMW everything in it which triples the cost of everything for it! BTW, at 110MPH it feels like its going only 65mph...................Thats what I read online, I would never go that fast..........the frigging thing hauls ass and is stable as a tank at high speed!
