low speed low side - ouch

Ian,
Glad you and your bike are not much worse for the wear. You will
definitely want to make sure you have better technique righting your
bike. MSF teaches you to put your back to the bike, lift from the
grab bar and handlebar from a squat position, and back up. If you
lift facing the bike, make sure you're back is straight (reverse arch
your back and stick your butt out), point your eyes to the sky, and
lift with your legs while grabbing the grab bar and handlebar.
Back injuries suck. Mine hurts almost every day (it hurts right now)
and I injured mine 25 years ago.
